20 left, 2ft just started.
I`ve been moved to this table.
2ft are almost never too loose at Party.

PartyGaming - $20+$0|2000/4000 NL - Holdem - 10 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

LP: 77,586.00
CO: 18,300.00
BTN: 245,284.00
SB: 42,982.00
BB: 103,991.00
UTG: 52,861.00
Hero (UTG+1): 50,250.00
MP: 81,260.00
MP+1: 94,696.00
MP+2: 97,330.00

LP posts ante 400.00, CO posts ante 400.00, BTN posts ante 400.00, SB posts ante 400.00, BB posts ante 400.00, UTG posts ante 400.00, Hero posts ante 400.00, MP posts ante 400.00, MP+1 posts ante 400.00, MP+2 posts ante 400.00, SB posts SB 2,000.00, BB posts BB 4,000.00

Pre Flop: (10000.00) Hero has A Q

fold, Hero....

Expecting them to call a shove on 88+,AJs+,AQo+ shoving is around +1bb cEV.
Big stacks on LPs can call even wider, which makes a shove less profitable.

MR/c gives a big chance to play post OOP.

What do you like?

Shoving AT there is not profitable.
And we could induce 3b-shove on a wider range mr/c-ing AQ.

As I`ve said I agree shoving is profitable. Just wonder if mr/c can be bettter.

With AT i'm shoving aswell with 12BB, last 2 tables and antes!!!
THere is somewhere a bubble in the next few people. I can see you (min)raising with AT, and I think there is a fair deal of players/stacks who will repop you with KQ,KJ, AT< or 22-->99. Especially bigger stacks behind you and the chipleader. AND especially because there are 3 players with lower or equal stacks to yours! That would induce a reraise of the bigger stacks even more.
So I go for shoving everytime with AT+, any pair KQs, minraising and folding KQ. Fold <KJs, A8. A9 is close

you guys are completely disregarding OPs assessment of the style and level of play.

While I am fine with shoving AQ here I think we should widen our LP raise fold range rather than open shoving marginal and easily dominated hands from EP

We've only got just over 12bbs. Surely we dont have a r/f range from our position ?

Just cram.

Your easiness is tilting.... elaborate.
If shove +1bb CeV why it`s better than mr/c, which allow someone to shove worse over us.

because they will assume (correctly) that they have no fold equity and will not jam worse. Also, if I see a reg min raise in early position, I assume it's stuff that is nutted and he doesn't mind seeing a flop.

I'd jam for the above reason. Secondly the massive stack being on the button is another consideration which makes shoving better than raise/call.

You know nothing about big stack.
It`s old thread, forget it.

Finnera, don`t restart old threads, go entertain high stakers.
