I'm sitting 7/7, and my bounty is 33$. This reg doesn't want to give any pot, shoved last two times when I raised from SB, does tricky things and makes tough spots. VPIP from BB 70%.
I think shoving would be best against this guy?

PokerStars - 6000/12000 Ante 1500 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 4 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

CO: 32.83 BB (VPIP: 41.07, PFR: 25.45, 3Bet Preflop: 11.11, Hands: 56)
BTN: 34.26 BB (VPIP: 26.53, PFR: 16.67, 3Bet Preflop: 12.50, Hands: 50)
Hero (SB): 21.74 BB
BB: 26.74 BB (VPIP: 47.25, PFR: 37.50, 3Bet Preflop: 11.76, Hands: 93)

4 players post ante of 0.13 BB, Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 2 BB) Hero has A 6

fold, fold, Hero ?

Move the slider all the way to the right and click raise. Everything else kinda sucks. Sometimes limp call.

He's pretty aggro and has shoved on 2 of your SB opens prior to this. I'd say A6 is well ahead of his range and worth putting into your shove-inducing raise/call range, no?

In ICM situations you don't want to be calling off light. Inducing here would be a punt IMO.

As long you don’t fold is fine every option.
I’ll prob open jamm vs competent player.

Open jam. Don't mind the call from V range. I think having some fold equity is helpful though as I'm not thrilled to get it in. AT+ I would open/call to induce.

After rethinking this hand and looking at your comments I think limp calling is best because:

1) It's 22$ tourney, and I don't need to take bigger variance game, because 5 other players left, which most likely to be weaker players and will make mistakes more often.
2) It plays bad post flop when limp/calling, but when A high board comes I'm pretty sure he's going to fire 3 bullets.

Darth_Maul: we don't want to induce with offsuit hand, because his shoving range could include JT-KQs hands, and we don't want to take a flip against broadways.

oldsilver: that sounds good, because he's most likely to iso trash hands x3.5-4 and fold, but I think A6s would be great candidate for that line.

Under this huge icm pressure vs competent player like him I would like a to just jam or fold pre. Limp call his shove is out of the question and is an icm punt imo
