Blinds are 75/150 and I have about $17000. There are couple of limpers before me and I open with $350 from CO. I get 3 callers including button.

Pot is about $1500. Flop comes 963r with one heart. A player in MP donk bets for $1000. I raise to $4000. The rest fold. He thinks for a bit and makes the call.

Pot is about $9500. Turn is a Qs, not sure if it brings a flush draw. He checks and I go all in for my remaining stack of about $12000. Player covers me.

What's my range here? I am trying to see what hands could an opponent put me on and what hands could I make him call/fold.

First off, raise more pre.... I’m prolly making it like 700-1050 pre if I’m raising over limpers. It’s much more difficult to play post flop against a bunch of players.... 350 in this spot will get no one to fold. Not sure about range but probably jj+, q9+, two pairs, and big draws.

That donk lead and big call means player prolly isn’t folding a lot on turn I feel.

Not sure what draws we would have 87s maybe. Q9 is an unlikely 2p. Should be mostly sets and AA/KK.

you definitely don't have AA/KK or a set.

Your hand looks more like a 9 or a draw. It could be 98 - A9 or possibly 87 maybe 54 or 75. your range looks a lot weaker than you think. You aren't going to raise 2.3x with 2 limpers in front of you with a big pair. This looks more like suit connectors/middle pair that wants to build a pot in position.

On the flop after you raise with a donk bet in front of you, your hand looks like it is trying to thin the field. If you had a set, you would just flat the donk bet and hope that someone behind raises the pot.

Your hand looks at best a weak 9, maybe even Q9 or a draw.

After your opponent calls the flop, unless he has a a draw as well, he is likely to call the turn shove. I think the best hand that you will make fold in this spot is A9 (which may not fold).

I did feel that I am really narrowing my range here. At that moment I felt I could represent a strong hand but with sets I wouldn't raise such a dry board. With top pair and over pairs, I am going in check call mode.

I actually had 87s and he folded to my shove and showed a 9. So I was happy with the play but I think this would only work with bad players. A good player would sniff a draw and would call off the shove.
