I think the preflop play is terrible. We are way ahead of the opening range regardless of how tight his stats are. We gotta raise for value. Moreover, we are only 30ish bb.

As played OTF, I really do not like your bet there with this middling hand. Just check it back on the flop and re-evaluate. If you had a draw or a total garbage then I am up for betting but with this hand, you wanna pot control and see what will happen on the turn. If villain bets, you can call the turn and see what the river brings. With this strategy, you give yourself the highest chance to realize your equity.

You cannot bet 3 streets for value so if you bet and get called on the flop then what are you going to do? Bet turn? Is it gonna be a value bet or a bluff? You wouldn't know. That is why you check back the flop. It makes the hand much easier to play.

I just think the whole approach to this hand is not great.

Somewhat agree - I don't hate my line at some small frequency ie I roll over something like 80 both pre and flop but yeah the majority of the time don't do this folks

HAhahah yes. I do not roll anything. Just see what is gonna make me the most money and do it. Did you say you play in a site without HUD? If this is the case, then no one will care or know whether you are balanced. I play 10-12 tables and I pay very little attention to this kind of stuff. The questionable marginal +EV coming from such a mixed strategy is just not worthy. Just play your strong hands strong.

But I think if you wanna use a mix strategy in a spot like this then NEVER use QQ. Do it only with AA coz there is less problems postflop. Just 3 bet your QQ and KK 100% of the time and then AA 99% of the time.
