I barely ever play MTT so I obviously had to get very lucky to make it to where I am right now. We're in the money and this hand is played right on a "pay jump bubble", ie, I win $25 more by just folding whatever I have in this spot. I have an okayish bountry ($75) on me, so does the shortie on my left.
During the hand, all I thought about was how villain had a huge stack and he would abuse this situation if he had any clue what he was doing. With that said, I didn't actually have reads on villain.
I was pretty annoyed with myself for making this call given that
1. it barely matters if I'm ahead or not in this situation
2. I can't bust villain, so no incentive to call loosely
3. I cover the guy to my left who also happens to have a decent bounty, so I'm throwing away highly profitable spots if I call now and lose
4. generally speaking, my short stack play is somewhat okay, so I would probably do better just playing push or fold on a 10bb stack compared to getting into trouble with a bigger stack.
So yeah, my best guess is my call is really bad. With that said, what would be a good calling range in this spot? The pay jump doesn't matter to me and I'm assuming that villain should shove pretty much 100% in this spot.
Thank you for any feedback.
