Hey guys, it would be amazing to have some feedback on the way I played the hand! Preflop, flop, turn and the key spot, would you call river?

My analysis:

Villain was very active as seen in his stats. Kind of a fishy player according to stats.

Preflop – I decide to call AJ0 on Button. In my eyes pretty standard: Agro player (don’t want to blow up the pot), I have position, it’s ”ok” if blinds comes along but hopefully not.

Flop – He bets around 50%. I Call: He is active and C bet’s a lot, He can do it with all kind of hands on this board; flush draw, QT, AQ, Axd, J10, A10, ect… Its quite a coordinated board. My initial feeling is that he would bet around 66%+ with a K or at least bigger with a hand he wants to protect.

Turn – Less than 50% bet. I don’t really like this card but continue with a standard call imo. Sure, it kind of hit his range and he can continue to barrel his draws. Again, smaller bet on such a card looks like he is still on a draw. Wouldn’t he bet bigger with two pairs or a K?

River – It’s a a blank, 5h dosen’t change anything. Lot’s of draw missed. He shoves into me. It kind of looks bluffy from my analysis but again I have only pot left stack and let’s not forget it’s a bounty MTT. Which hands is he bluffing on the river and which hands is he value betting? Folded but not sure how to analyse the river spot. I think I would have liked a call on my side…

Flatting pre is fine against an aggro player.

Flop call with 2nd pair is standard against a wide c-betting range.

Turn is a fold, since their double barrel range becomes tighter on a ten. You can have KQ/KJ/JT/AQ and they still bet, so it's more likely they have value than a draw.

Sure, you have a Q as an out, but that will put out 4 to a straight, which will result in you chopping or not getting action. An Ace makes two pair but is relatively insignificant because they can have a straight easily or a better two pair/set. And the J will give you trips, but they could already have a straight with AQ, or two pair/sets that would boat up.

And when they bet that turn, you can expect them to bet a lot of rivers, which you'll have to fold.

And since there's few rivers that you can comfortably continue on, it's best to just muck the turn.

Unless you have a specific read that they double barrel and give up on the river unimproved a lot.

I don't think you can fold turn given price, even though he has a bunch of value on this board. You don't have clubs and block AQ, so it's not the worst bluffcatcher in the world but I'd prefer KQ type of hand. Probably folding river.
