17/127 left in €100 PKO at the IPO in Dublin last night.
Top 15 paid.
Pay structure seemed standard ranging from €110 for 14/15th to €1350 for 1st/2nd.
I’m in BB.
Blinds are 2000/5000 with BB ante of 5000. I have 3700 chips left after posting blinds(7BB)
6 handed as tables about to be split.

Dealt A7o, folds around to SB who is monster stack and has been bounty hunting with any two cards. He shoves, I call. His q5o knocked me out.

First live event in quite some time. I wasn’t able to get a feel for size of stacks at other tables unfortunately.

We just have to call here and take what comes surely? Interested to here if anyone folds here and tries to squeeze into bubble.

I suspect vs ATC this is a call. While you may not have a feel for the other stack sizes, you should definitely know what is average at this point. That will generally give you a feel for how your stack stands in situations where you can't see the other stacks. Your hand will probably only be 60-40 vs most hands, so be prepared to be knocked out a fair percentage.

However, doubling up here will probably be quite valuable, especially if it puts you back into contention for bounties.

Is this a progressive knock out or just a knock out? I have never heard of a live PKO, as calculating and keeping track of the knock out values would be difficult.

I've played live PKO's where the bounties go up with fewer players left, not related to how many players an individual has knocked out.

Snap call, unless someone else is sitting on 1-2 bbs and about to go into blinds. Look up Push/fold charts for more info.
