hero and villain have about similar stacks of 150k (25bb)
pre-flop:
utg folds
hero from utg+1 opens to 15k with TdTh
everyone folds to villain on the button who 3bets to 42k
blinds fold
hero calls
flop 9c 7c 4s pot 97k, ~110k left behind
hero checks, villain bets 45k, hero ships?

Both on 25bb pre (no info on his tendencies) as he s comitting 30% of his stack, his range might be nut heavy most of the time but with no particular read and 1010 vs a btn 3b => 4b jam, you are doing very good vs 66+ (not sure if he would at all 3b such low pairs but at least you are beating 88's and 99's) you are flipping against broadways and dont forget that he might even be folding KQss... Not going too deep here but yeah => 4b jam pre.

Without any info on the villain its impossible to give you any advice on this as he could anything from say 88-AA plus AK and smaller pockets if he's super aggro. I would only usually pre shove it from EP with less than 13BB or so though.
I don't think its worth doing it with 25BBs from EP.
What kind of table image do you have too?
