What limits are you looking to play? My friends and I generally play 200bb 10nl but two of us would be fine with playing 50nl or maybe a bit higher

Anybody know of anything going on in Wilmington? I have one game that I play on Saturday nights but I am looking for more action. I know there are a ton of poker players around here due to both Pub Poker and World Tavern Poker having a big list of players.

I havent been myself, but I guess they have pretty lively tournaments at Belvedere Country Club in Hampstead. They used to be wednesday nights, but it got too busy and had to add monday nights as well. I think it is $20 buyin with rebuys up til a certain point. I'm not sure of the structure but I think the overall level of play is donktastic. Not sure if this is something that would be worth the ride up from Wilmington or not.

Thanks for the info. I might have to check that out. You dont have to be a member of the country club to participate? And a short drive is always worth it if the skill level is ever defined as "donktastic" lol

The players there might not appreciate my definition, but I think its a fair one.
I have played in a couple of home games with guys who go and I guess they have done well on occasion. I know that doesnt mean much, lol sample size etc, but if they have done well I think the competition is probably soft.
Again, I have never been so take it fwiw.
You dont have to be a member, just show up and play. I can call one of the guys for specific info if needed.

Would still like to set up the occasional home game now and then. I have any and all poker supplies we might need. Also, I have become friends with Maxipouce who posted in this thread. I'm pretty sure he would play occasionally as well, when he isnt pwning euro donks!!
