Seeing as i live in a small, isolated state, i've had a difficult time forming a relationship within the poker community. Before i became familiar with 2+2 i was basically just talking to myself about poker. Thus, i'm curious who's a reg from the green mountain state and may want to talk hands sometime or get a home game going. Let this be the VT thread, home of 400,000 rednecks and 100,000 ski bums. Weeeeee

I played in some $20 tournament last summer at the Legion in Waterbury so yes. I want to know about those 2/5 games, that would be awesome so i don't have to drive to Montreal all the time.

If enough people are interested, I would definitely be down. If anyone wants to split the costs to take trips to Casio de Montreal, would absolutely be willing to discuss with right person and split gas costs. Right now I have an overhead cost of 90$ per trip on Greyhound roundtrip burlington --> montreal, let me know if interested.

Nice, are you at the college or are you a resident of the town? I have cut back on the number of trips I have been making to Montreal because Greyhound is so expensive. But I'm also in Middlebury and would be up for a trip up whenever it's convenient for you.

Oh that's great, hope you're enjoy this spectacular summer we're having. I've played at both card rooms, and I think skill is more of a factor at Playground. I would say that some of the 1/2 players are better than 5/5 players at the Bicycle Casino, I think it has a lot to do with online poker being bigger in Canada etc. but both places are great action. Let me know how to reach you about taking a trip sometime.

Cheers,

DMt
