I will let you know. Action should be good. Max buyin of 100bb seems like it should be a good game.

I keep it posted
Excellent, look forward to your report. I grew up in the area, and might try to stop in when visiting family if the report is positive.

I have played these games many times. Poker Palace is the biggest and best as far as action is concerned.

They take an $8 half hour time charge and rake $2 in $20+ pots for the bad beat jackpot. The rake is big but the players are so terrible that a good player can beat the rake, bb jackpot, and tips. 90% of the players are really terrible. When the bad beat reaches $20k plus there are up to 12 cash tables with 40+ people waiting to play. Its actually freakin ridiculous. I know most of it is suppose to go to charity, but Im tellin you, someone is making bank out of this place.

I played the victory games when it was at the bingo/bowling alley but I havent played since they went to some temple.

I'm still looking for a $.50/$1.00+ NL Cash game in the Richmond area.

I went to the Poker Palace a few months ago, and came to the conclusion that the game just wasn't beatable for more than a few bucks an hour or so in the long run. There was no $2/5 or $5/10 when I went (weekend night), and on top of the $8 rake per 1/2 hour, there are no automatic shufflers, and both the dealers and players are typically very slow. We were literally seeing around 15-17 hands an hour, so I'd have to average $1 profit per hand just to break even.

Still this: http://grovepoker.synthasite.com/

Cash game after tourney is usually .50-1.00 or .25-.50

Then again, if you want to start a game, have at it. I'll be all over it.
