I am interested in hosting a game with the following format (min. 6 and max. 8 players):
Since not too many people have too much experience playing this I want to limit the variance (see methods below) so hopefully this could turn into an ongoing thing (but first thing first: let's see if we can get this off the ground one time.)
Game: PLO (high only) no rakes and fees
Blinds: Either $0.50/$1 or $1/$2 no straddles
Buy in: if $0.50/$1: min. $50 max. $100, if $1/$2: min. $100 max. $200, option to reload to the max any time between hands
Dealer: 2 players will deal from center positions
Location and Time: Sacramento, most likely on a Saturday evening starting around 6 PM
Food/Drinks: Bring your own
Options to reduce variance:
1. Make it a Cap game.
No player may bet more than a total of 50 BB per hand, even if they have more chips available to them in their stack. Once all players in the hand have reached the Cap, they will be considered all-in. This can be easily done on the table by either players putting they bets in front of them or by separating the cap amount from their stack at the beginning of each hand.
And/Or
2. Dealing it twice.
By player agreement or mandatory.
If you are interested PM me. Also, feel free to provide me with feedbacks.

I think 50bb is the min and 100bb is the max... But im down depending on what size the blinds are... Would there be some nlhe or is it only going to be plo?
All who are interested send me a PM with your email address. I will try to organize a game.
I will probably set an minimum BI of $50 and a Max of $100 (at $0.50/$0.50 blinds and $1 bring in, no straddle). I may consider a cap at $100 per player per hand as well as dealing it twice.
