Deep Stack Poker in the-South Bay/
Non private, no rake, over 100 players and growing.
I run NLH occasional PLO cash games with deep stack buy-ins at a wide spread of stakes:
$0.25/$0.50 $50-$150 buy-in
$0.50/$1.00 $75-$200 buy-in
$0.75/$1.50 $125-$300 buy-in
$1.00/$2.00 $150-$400 buy-in
Generally I run 1-4 games per week depending on what other groups in the area are doing. I'll occasionally handicap myself in the lower stakes games. Mostly run a single 8-9 handed table. I try to have at least one Saturday evening game at 8:00 PM and offer 1 or 2 other games at various days in the week.
other start times:
8:00 PM Mon-Sat
2:00 PM Sat
1:00 PM Sun
7 PM Sun
Stakes are generally rotated based on demand, other games/tournaments in the area, basically what I feel the player base can easily support.
No end time, if players keep coming, I'll keep playing so it usually lasts pretty long 7-10 hours for a weekday, 10-16 hours for a weekend game. One session lasted 20 hours.
I sometimes provide a handicap at the lower stakes such as posting a bb on my button.
Casino grade ceramic chips, all top brand name plastic cards, 6'dia round table with padded rail, padded felt, and flush mounted Shuffle Tech Machine.
In terms of quality of equipment, rules, security, it's very much like a casino but with a no rake, very friendly home game atmosphere.
