Fallsview has a session fee of $6/hour for 2/5 and 5/5 NL, and $7/hour for 5/10 NL. It has 16 poker tables. Other posters are correct that there could be dozens of players waiting, but it takes a long time to open one of the many empty tables. I have learned to phone ahead and if the wait is still long, I get a free drink from the bar and read the free poker magazine.
Casino Niagara 1/2 NL has a rake of 10%, maximum $5 and I believe it's $2 taken on any flop. If you are not good enough for 2/5+, then Niagara is your only choice for 1/2.
Avoid Seneca Casino, which is the only US casino as far as I know that withholds 30% tax on Canadians and other foreigners just for winning a non-taxable satellite or any tournament win over $1!
No wonder most Canadians like me play at Fallsview instead.
