This game runs in Ahwatukee. The series of games for WSOP seats runs in Ahwatukee and Gilbert.

As some of you know, I built an RFID-enabled table. The final piece for my table arrives Friday, so I'm trying to get a game going for Saturday, but I'm short two regulars.

[It is the RFID system available for purchase HERE, and the same system used at this London casino.]

The game is moderately small stakes -- a single $1 blind -- and participates in a small withholding (a rake, if you prefer) that sends players to the WSOP every year by means of a final tournament (with chip stacks based on hours logged playing cash). You need to play at least 15% of this season's total hours to qualify for the finals. [Last year that meant 30 hours.]

In the end, we withhold about $2.50 per player per hour and return it all to the qualified players at the end of the season. The hosts take NO funds, and provide snacks and drinks. 100% of all raked dollars are eventually returned to players.

The game rotation for the last few sessions has been:
  1. $1 single-blind no-limit Hold'em
  2. $1 single-blind no-limit Hold'em (#2)
  3. $1 single-blind pot-limit Omaha high
  4. $1 single-blind $2-5 limit Crazy Pineapple high-low
Minimum buy-in is $50. Maximum buy-in is $150. Players may top-off at any time. Detailed information (including rules and hour standings) is available on the SDB website linked below.

Any game from the WSOP 10-game rotation can be played if players agree. No "kitchen table" poker games are played, and the only wildcard allowed is an optional bug in 2-7.

Only Hold'em games are currently broadcast correctly by the RFID system to the internet.

Games are broadcast with a delay to discourage cheating.

To get this game to go Saturday, I need to replace a few of my regulars with a few people who want to have their game broadcast to the internet for all to see.

I also need a volunteer dealer and/or volunteer computer operator who'd like to track bets for the video feed. I'm afraid the stakes of the game make those unpaid positions. You get dinner and a tip or two.

Copies of the video are made available to all players at the end of the night (provided you bring a flash drive or want to wait for a DVD).

PM or reply for more information.
