The host mugged us and stole all our money and left us in Hoboken without clothes on :P

Host and Hostess were really nice and friendly. Everyone there in fact was genuinely nice. Never at one point did I ever feel uncomfortable, considering it was the first poker game I went to outside of my own local home games. The crowd was also pretty young which was a plus for me (I was still the youngest there though :P)

trip report??

Quick rundown.. we got started a bit late but ended up being 8-handed for the first 2 hours or so. The twoplustwo'ers that came were Dima, SonRk and his bud, and Splash. My gang (myself included) was a bit outmatched by the twoplustwo crowd but there was lots of action and (i think) everyone had a good time.

some mental notes I had after game
-i need to get a bigger table
-beatles > random hendrix cd for background music
-no one likes pizza!
-don't stack off light w/ AK against unknown villian!

Thanks to everyone for coming out, my gf and I enjoyed playing. We are going to try and get a game this coming weekend although it may be difficult w/ all the Valentines hoopla.

Spoke with the lady, we are going to host a .25-.25 nlhe game this Friday night (the 12th) around 8pm. The buy-in cap is going to be very lax but I want the game to be a bit more accessible for my buddies who only want to buy in for $20-30.

Parking situation wasn't TOO bad, I just had to park 2 blocks away.

Snow was nonexistent that weekend! For our part of NJ nothing stuck to the floor... but i've heard 6-18 inches for tomorrow night.

I didn't personally eat pizza because I stopped by McDonalds. I was coming from Massachusetts and 4 hour rides get me hungry. I thought about stopping to the game and devouring pizza, but that didn't seem respectful :P
