I'm trying to get a few more players for my home game. All are welcome.

The game goes every Thursday and Sunday evening. I live in Altadena, CA.

Low stakes, no rake game. Mellow atmosphere, we're playing just for fun. With that said I try to keep the game fast paced with standard casino rules. So no wildcards or 10 minute long hands.

No limit holdem. 10/20 cent blinds with a 10 dollar initial buy in. If you lose your buy in you may reload double of your biggest previous buy in. So if you wanted to do you could buy in 10 then 20 then 40 etc. You can always buy in for 10 dollars though. The game gets wilder as the stacks get deeper and the players get drunker.

Drinks are provided and occasionally snacks are too. Donations of a couple bucks are appreciated but not required.

If you're interested send me a pm and I'll send you the address info. I'll need your cell number.

I wouldn't go to a game that doesn't allow 100 BB buy-in. But hey **** me, I live in Norway...

Go all-in your first hand. Win or lose, you'll have 100bb starting with the 2nd hand.

lol. This is what almost happens within the first hour. This adds some incentive to come early and help start the game. If you come late you'll be stuck buying in for 10 when the game is playing deep. Also, although it is an irrational fear, most casual players don't like a game with no cap on the buyin.

Mr. Garlic, what was the largest buying for your game. Has anyone ever gotten to $320?

lol I have the record for the biggest loss for the day. I could have bought in $320 but I chose to buy in for $200. With the right mix of players the game can get psychotic.

1,000 big blinds are a lot, what domination of chips did you use for your $200 buy in?

For the game I use ¢5 chips all the way up to $10 chips.

Why would you need our cell phone? So that if we are huge fish you can keep on calling us to make sushi? I like to drink milk when I play do you have that?

I ask for phone numbers, too. It's a little bit of accountability. I'm inviting you into my home, after all. I should have a way of contacting you.

A phone conversation beforehand is not out of line, either. As a host you want to keep the jerks away. Nothing implied here by that comment, of course.

Is cross booking allowed, and if so is there a maximum percentage allowed? Are you able to cross book with a third party on another player in the game? Have you ever crossed booked in the game?

People are always afraid when I buy in for 800BB and the others for 200BB only. I don't know why, but I don't care. I'm glad it's my game hahaha.

Sorry for not having added anything here. Sounds like a fun game nevertheless! Keep it up.

Edit; for some reason I thought Altadena was a lot closer to me, looked it up and it's to far for me, seems like fun though.
