Texas Card House Spring is 50% off tomorrow.

Played at Mint yesterday. Game was very good, not sure if that is the norm though. Pretty decent place. One thing I noticed was how much people were tipping the dealers, is this what people do down here?
07-10-2019 , 06:50 PM
They tip with chips and House takes 20% of there tips.

Went back to Mint today and it was the worst game Ive ever played in. Time to try out Lions. Have driven by Lions and it looks sketchy, is it safe to play there?

Yes absolutely. Great action and room! You won’t be disappointed! GL!

Mint's doing a promo this weekend where if you invite someone new, you and the person you invite both get 2 hours free. So if anyone wants to try it, let me know.

I planned to play some live today but it looks like the freerolls club and Mayfield have closed down. Has this been to loss of customers or a development in the case against Prime/ POPC?

I played there yesterday and their PokerAtlas is up. Maybe referring to the old location?

Can confirm Freerolls is not closed, and it's seeing the most action it ever has since Prime/PO/West Houston all shut down. Usually at least 1 game of PLO and 3-5 tables of 1/3 a night now.

Lions has great action but other than that its pretty dumpy. The cards they use are very very cheap. Only can tip in cash? wtf?
07-14-2019 , 01:10 PM
mint and freerolls officially have the highest rates in town at $15 per hr
The lowest rate in town is now Royal social - $5/hr during the day at $10/hr at night
Soho remains steady at $10/hr or $120 for 15 hrs if bought in bulk

Mayfair shut down due to dispute in owner percentage but is negotiating

Lion's is using the $60 cap rate per day

Mr. Heuer, you might want to get on Bravo. Would help the players determine if TCH is worth going to.

This, x1000. The website doesn't make it clear what games are running and there's a pretty consistent divide between PLO and NLHE players.

Bravo is not available non-casinos - soon poker atlas will not be available in texas either

Wait, what? Why not? (I meant Poker Atlas earlier)

Yes, Poker Atlas (not bravo, sorry).
07-16-2019 , 11:52 AM
when does the management at Mayfield anticipate a re-opening?
07-16-2019 , 12:03 PM
They were with 24 hrs of opening but negotiations failed - it is still in limbo - the best rate in the state - hope to see them rise again
07-16-2019 , 03:50 PM
Where is the best place for PLO these days? I know Prime was good for PLO, but with them getting closed down where is all the PLO these days?
07-16-2019 , 06:03 PM
Just heard poker room case dismissed
07-16-2019 , 06:06 PM
Still have to deal with the feds.

I am not Mr Heuer. However I can tell you that Poker Atlas and Bravo are currently not available for clubs in Texas. That may change though given the news today.
