Hi everyone

I live in Mexico City for about three month and I work here. But so far I couldn't find a place to play poker, homegame or club/Casino.

If anyone knows something, please let me know. I live at the Coyoacan neighborehood, as closer as better.

Thanx
mcmigi

PS (to admin): If this thread is on the wrong place, please move it to the wright.

Hmmmm, i dont think Mexico is the best choice to go to a home game. At least the news here in are not too good about the situation there.

^^^^watch more fox news seriously mexico city is 10x's more safe then my old home of columbus, ohio (go bucks) i live about 4 mins from coyoacan. try Casino Life, located on insurgentes/felix cuevas in del valle. First full fledged casino ive ever been to in mexico (blackjack, roulette, electronic poker tables, 3-4 full tables every night of 2/4 nl ) and smoking on the entire lower level (supposedly illegal in city limits) obv owned by a politician but you wont see me complaining.

3 tournaments a day, weekly and monthly tournaments. Free good food and top shelf drinks. Nice scenery change compared to rat casinos in ohio/wv/pen areas, lots of wealthy business men, professional husband money spenders, and a few international students in the mix.

Hehe, Mexico City is definitly not as dangerous as it appears in the media. I mean it is still Latin America, but i would say, da standart to live is quite ok (I've been to worse places). It D.F. is not Juarez.

No, I'm not American, I am Swiss and tried to work here as a freelance journalist and get some experience. And of course, I have some free time to spend with poker. Will try the Casino life, even if I prefere to play with real cards and chips.
