this was a brutal wknd without online. I'm not making a trip to a casino(AC) until June and would love to find some home games in the area. I'm in Cobb County but I don't have a problem driving. also its hard to find someone that will tell you where games are around here cuz they are so strict on homegames and the ones that don't get busted seemed to get robbed....but that was a long time ago when i used to go to alot of home games don't know how the status is anymore.

Would like to play some poker tho!!

I live in Lawrenceville and would be interested in playing either ring-games or tournies...NLHE, LHE and 7 Stud.

Based on interest, I can even offer to host games at my house...have man-cave with poker table, chip set, wet bar, etc.

Once I get back from the WSOP-C in NOLA, I'd be interested in something over on the west of 400 side of town (already have one game I hit semi-regularly in Duluth, so another on that side is a bit much

).

I have a small .25/.50 mixed flop game that I run semi-regularly (generally either in Sandy Springs or Marietta) that I may consider opening up more in the next couple of months.

Yea I would be interested in playing anything from 1/2 to 5/10 NLHE or a good tourny. Don't really mind driving as long as its not too far or the game is fun.

I have a weekly $1-1 game that I've been running for about 3-4 months. Lately it seems that it's been harder to get a full table to show up, much less on time. I've only had to cancel once in the time I've been running it but I'd like to get some new players that are willing to play anywhere near the Duluth area where I have my game. There is no min or max buy in but most players buy in between $80-200.
If anyone in the area is interested PM me for more details. Having one tonight for anyone on short notice.

I'm in the Acworth (North Cobb) area, and have been going crazy since Black Friday. I am up for any game within reasonable driving distance. I'll play ring or sngs/tournies. I was mainly a Stud player online, so you guys might have to take it easy on me in NLHE

. Also, if anyone wants to get a group together for weekend or day trips to Cherokee, I could be down for that as well. I've been to Cherokee a few times, and it was pretty lucrative, so that may be an idea for us to look into. Just drop me a line and let me know if anyone has any ideas.

Hey everyone, good to see there's some good games going on. Just moved back from FL and I'm looking to play on Friday or Saturday (prefer Friday). I usually play NLHE with some Omaha mixed in, and I'm up for pretty much anything. Limits up to 1/2 generally, but might play 2/5 as well. Something like this, many people are leery about inviting someone over they've never met before for various reasons. My suggestion would be to either hit up a few of the bar tournaments (my biased recommendation would be one of the ones run by Interstate Poker Club) or to hit up the American Legion in Smyrna on Monday or Thursday nights for the charity tournaments there. I've gotten my leads on cash games locally through both of those outlets, and it gives people a chance to actually meet you before inviting you into their home.

Thinking about starting a game in atlanta/decatur..
Ironing out the details with a few friends,
thinking about using paypal so no money would be at the house.. thoughts?
would like to run 2-3 tables 1/2 2/5 5/10..
We are thinking of doing background checks on new players, aswell as requiring a reference. Think we will be able to get fish in the game with all of these requirements?
Any thoughts on running a safe game that wont get busted/robbed?
Looking for any feedback that could help us get up and started, i for one would love to not have to drive 5 hours to play some live poker.
