Casinos: Georgia is still strongly in the grip of the Bible Belt and the General Assembly won't move to legalize it. Although there is some hope with the move to legalize paramutual betting.

There's plenty of underground games in the ATL area. Although most of them are raked, I have been fortunate to find a few non raked games that provide plenty of action with a good group of players.

I wouldn't feel comfortable inviting someone from the forum to a game that I don't host. I do, however, host a monthly single table Sit N Go. It's taken a small hiatus due to a newborn baby and the upcoming WSOP Cherokee trip but I will be resuming it sometime in May. If you're interested in a $100-200 SnG with a slow blind structure, PM me and I'll add you to the invite list.

As a side note, I have frequented MariettaBull's cash games before and I do recommend them as they provide plenty of big action, despite being a lower staked game.

So house has been purchased. Move date will be the 23rd. My game will be starting back up in Acworth on the 27th. Always looking for new folks to add to the rotation. The game will be either .25/.50 or .5/1 NLHE and 1-3 button blind PLO generally in a 2:1 or 3:1 rotation. The game is generally made up of people who enjoy playing and also study the game. So while it's social and we have a good time, we also tend to pay more attention to the game itself than a pure social game.

Yes, there are some. Granted, most of what you'll run across are raked games, but there are unraked games (I run one).
