I am also looking for a friendly home game in Atlanta/metro area. 1/2 nl also love to play Omaha & 7 Stud. Games have disappeared on the south side of town especially.

My game is cheap buy-in tourney style. I can't get my players to paly anyhting other than Texas Hold-em. We regularly have 14-16 players and have had 37 different people play.... I am in the middle of the remodel that will give me more room and then will be building some good tables. I hope to have room for 10 more players when I am done.

I'm up in Marietta.

Also looking for a friendly tourny/ 1/2NL game.

North Atlanta would would be my preference but anywhere in the Metro area would be great as well.

Hi Atlanta players, I have a small home-game that you might be interested in. We take turns hosting at different houses in Atlanta, Marietta, Smyrna, and sometimes Alpharetta. The players are mostly late 20s to mid-30s and we play about once or twice a month on a Friday or Saturday night. No rake or fees or anything like that.

We usually play two tourney games of Hold'em, $15 buy-in, rebuys for the first hour and then a cash game if there are enough night-owls remaining.

It's a casual, low-stakes game with a mix of experienced and newbie players. We play the tourneys to the final two and split based on % of chips. The goal is to spread the winnings around a bit to keep people coming back. We average about 6 people for a game but we sometimes get a full-table.

We're playing this Saturday night (Jan 31) so PM me if you're interested.

I am also interested in an Atlanta home game.

I play 1/2 NLH however I am looking for a cash style game. It appears that most of the people here play tourney style, which I am not interested in.

Anyone know of a 1/2 NLH cash game in ATL?

makes 4 of us! Its hard to get a game around here b/c of the past games that have gone down, and how they got shut down. You used to be able to find a game any day of the week between lawrenceville and atlanta, but now not to sure where to find them anymore, I used to play all the time at home games, took a little break for awhile but would love to find a good 1/2 NL game any day of the week, except Friday, also, looking for some tournys to play. Also don't know if any of you are near north point, but champs has some free league play on tuesdays and I have been debating on checking it out. Hopefully finding a home game there. Any thoughts?

I have never had much luck trying to recruit people at the free bar games. It seems like most of the people who play free poker in bars are doing so because they can't afford to play for meaningful stakes.
