Looking for home/private game in Berlin to deal/play

I am moving to Berlin, Germany in December and will be looking for work dealing/playing in private games there. Is it permitted to ask about in this forum about such topics? I read the FAQ but didn't really conclude either way.

I would post in the breakroom thread in the forum you originally posted in if looking for Spielbank work. For private games, feel free to put a thread in the Home Game Listings sub-forum, though no one has posted about Berlin since 2011, I'm afraid.

Note that live poker where anyone can enter is illegal in germany (outside casinos and special torurnaments where the prizes are fixed before number of entrants are known). It's a bit of a gray area when it's only by invitation. but even if you're just playing with your buddies on a regular basis then that's illegal ("on a regular basis" being the operative words here...and as you can guess the definition of that is pretty iffy)
So if you're willing to play (or just deal) private home games on a regular basis you're always running the risk of some sore loser calling the cops on you.
Laws may vary from state to state so be sure to check.
