It seems to me that all the action is in North Jersey/NYC. South jersey is all quiet unless you go to AC and/or CHester (Harrah's), Willmington (Del Park), and Bensalem (Parx).

We play 1/2NL at my place in North Haledon every Friday. Action is good. If you're interested, shoot me a PM.
***EDIT***
North Haledon is on the border of Bergen and Passaic Counties. It's near William Paterson University and borders Wyckoff and Franklin Lakes in case you've never heard of the town.
Im looking to start a NO RAKE NO TIME game in either bayonne, nj or jerseycity> Im tired of making these scumbags rich off our love of poker> pm or hit me by email donkbetcheckraise@hotmail.com for details
Hoping that with the demise of the online game, there may finally be interest in central NJ to form new games. There are plenty of games in north NJ, NYC, games out in New Brunswick, etc.
Can't any of my fellow Monmouth county denizens get some action going other than the Union Beach game? Red Bank, Rumson, Atlantic Highlands, Middletown, etc. C'mon peeps!
I play in a game in Runnemede NJ. It's in South jersey. Camden County. It runs 1/2 NLHE Wed-Sun. Starts between 9 and 10pm on average and at times has played until 9am but average end time would probably be around 4 or 5 am. Saturdays, Fridays, and Wednesdays are notoriously the best games respectively(IE: most players/best action). Full rake is 1 out of every 10 up to 40 with 2 taken at 20 for a bonus. So 5 taken out of a pot max. bonuses consist of the following hands as long as you use both cards in your hand. Royal flush pays: 250
Straight flush: 50, Quads: 25, Pocket Aces Cracked: 25
I'm moving to Hudson County. If someone could suggest ideas on fun things around the area outside of poker I'd be down to kick it with some 2p2'ers too.
Hoboken is solid and you're obviously close to Manhattan. There are also good spots to go out in Clifton and Montclair. As far as poker, if you can't find a home game, you can always travel to Sands in PA assuming you have a vehicle. Or, have a look at homepokergames.com, there are a zillion games in Manhattan, albeit virtually none are "true" home games
