I am looking to find a home game in NJ. I play online almost every night, and none of my friends have a passion for poker like I do. So it would be nice to find some people who love to play and talk poker.

Or is there any groups online that play daily,weekly,monthly tournaments? Is there anything like this out there?

By the way i play on pokerstars..

What kind of stakes are you guys looking for? I have a regular $0.10/$0.20 $20 max buyin NLHE game (basically $1/$2 NL with the decimal point moved over 1 spot) at my house about every other week. I also play at a home game that ranges from $0.50/$1 NLHE to $1/$2 NLHE with $100 and $200 buyins respectively on a less-regular basis, as the regs haven't been able to keep that game going consistently.

Both games are rake/time-charge free. My home game is always looking for some extra players, and I'm sure if your money is green the other game will welcome you with open arms.

This is epic, kudos.

For anyone not terrified of traveling over a bridge, I play a weekly .25-.50 NL home game at a friends house in Staten Island. This is within 30 minutes of all northeast NJ/Monmouth, Union, Middlesex, and Ocean counties. All are welcome. There's also occasional 1/2 NL here as well.

I'm in Passaic County, NJ, which is about 25-30 minutes away from Nyack/Nanuet. I'm not too far off the Garden State Parkway.

.25-.50 is pretty liberal, it's $75 max, I have no idea what the min would be, maybe $30. Most people $50-$60.

The 1/2 NL is $100 to $500 albeit nobody ever buys in for $500. $200 or $300 would be standard.

Thursday night, 11/13, Staten Island 1/2 NL @ my house, no rake, someone will deal, likely standard buy in parameters. Looking to get this going once a week at the start, then 2-3x. In all fairness, most of the people coming who wouldn't be on this site are terrible. Hit me up - within 30 min of most of NJ.

Hello All. I am getting very fed up with online poker playing and i think its time to do some live play but most of my friends dont play. I live in Morris county and am looking for a place to have some fun. I live in little falls/Montclair area and I know like 3-4 home games around north jersey all ranging from 1-2 nl to 5-5 nl.. Im 26 years old and the people I play with are all older than me and have a **** load of money so let me know if u are interested.... Just a warning the action is pretty sick so prepare to see some sick unreal ****..

Just bumping this thread. It's been nearly a month since a post and hoping someone is hosting or knows about an open game in or right around NJ. There should be a lot of people with time off for the holidays so many a random game will get started.

- I'm looking for a cash game up to 1/2

I still hold a semi-regular micro stakes game ($0.10/$0.20NL) at my place from time to time. I've also finally gathered up a large enough group to have a regular $1/$2NL game at my house every week. I'm proud to have found enough people interested to have both these games run pretty successfully. I live very close to William Paterson Univ. I'm somewhere between WPU and Garden State Plaza
