just moved to Austin for a job downtown. Living in the jollyville area. Love playing O8, PLO, NL cash, and any kind of tournament/sng. Looking for a low buy in casual game with drinking where I can donk around, or a higher buy-in underground game where I can actually play seriously.

Anyone know of any game (cash/sng/tournament) where the rake isn't completely absurd?

Just played at a game where they raked $13 from $70 pot. I really can't go back to such madness. I think they raked at least $1500 off the table in 6 hours.

I don't mind paying a bit of rake... but games like the above are simply not beatable.

Looking for any home game in or around Austin with a reasonable (or no) rake. I used to play in quite a few games around town 8 years ago before I moved away for a bit. I'm sure folks who have been around that long will recognize me.

Limit or NL is fine. Please send PM with details (game type, limits, and rake if any). Note: I'm aware of a few games around town that are 10% rake with no cap. I'm not interested in any foolishness like that.

Anybody looking for $1/$2 NLHE and/or $5/$10 LHE that wants to drive up to Killeen for a juicy, rake-free home game, PM me. Takes about 50 minutes to get here from Round Rock, and a little over an hour from city limits (iirc).

Note: you may not post about raked games in any thread in this forum, except for the Pay-to-play sticky thread. You can only post about a game that you host, and you must state that there is no rake or fee to play.
