Anyone know of any 1/2 - 2/5 games throughout Houston and maybe other parts of Texas? I know it's more difficult to find the live games here but trying to find them since the whole Indictment thing.

I live in Richmond (close to Katy). Pretty interested if there are any close by.

I know of a real good underground card club. They run 1/3 NL, small stakes tourneys, and ROE some of the time - 7 days a week. They'll accept pretty much anyone. PM me for details.

I also know of a 5/5 game that runs 3x a week. Again, PM me.

Then, there are 1/3 and a 2/5 home games I go to, but I'd have to know you well to bring you to either of those. Basically, there's just a lot of games around Houston.

Heading to Lake Charles for the Louisiana Sate Poker Championship on Tuesday, May 3rd. Looking for a fellow poker player from the Houston area who is interested in sharing travel expenses; gas and lodging.
I will be playing the Tuesday $200 and Wed. $300 bracelet events. I have to be back on Thursday the 5th. I’m 36 and really solely interested in playing poker the entire time there. We can get a room with 2 queens for a decent price at the casino. If you have someone else you can bring cool, it'll cut down on expenses even more. Snorers need not apply.

This is kind of a test run to see how well I like the atmosphere of the live grind to see if it is something I want to continue doing until we can get back on large poker sites.

There are a lot of games around that are underground. As far as non-rake games they usually require that you know someone in the game or have a solid rep here.
