So far we have:

Me
amusedlol
Johnston666
NorCalJew- Julian
JsTs- CK
TheGreenMidget- Matt H
abarber- Andrew
liveandrockinout
anemoney- Tony

NCJ offered his place, or we could use mine. Someone pick a date. I'm good with JsTs idea of $125 buyin, I say we shoot for 16 players, I could throw a semi decent structure together quite easily.

May 11th or 18th is best. Any sooner is too short notice and any later is WSOP time. I guess 25th is fine too but we may lose interest by then.

Erle volunteering his place is great. He has a family at home so I'm sure there will be plenty of hospitality. If he changes his mind I will happily host at my place in Folsom. Fully prepared to meet the means of a group of poker players looking to play/eat/drink/ break some things.

Structure likely won't be a big deal w the group were getting together, but I'll be the first one to throw something out there:

7,000in chips (no rebuy/add on)

20 min levels

25-50

50-100

75-150

100-200

(Wouldn't mind the 150-300)

200-400

300-600

500-1000

Match should be over by now but 600-1200, 800-1600 etc

I definitely wouldn't mind a slower structure but the whole point of this event is it shouldn't matter as long as there's plenty to do outside of the HU.

Semi finals n finals can be best of 3.

Erle is going to vote for 5,000 in chips and 250-500 starting blinds.

This^

Those dates are during Reno Pot Of Gold at GSR, might be a conflict for a couple of us and the following week is memorial weekend, this might not work on a Saturday before WSOP.

I'm ok with a Thursday night, it shouldn't take more than 5-6 hrs to get to the finals from 16. We could start at 6:30pm. May 16?

I'm also ok with playing in Folsom at JsTs Dixie Cup Palace.

Would like to attend and can probably make the 18th, but doing it on a weekday will depend on workload. If can make it I will be selling 80% of my action on the marketplace.

My suggestion for structure.
I like 10k starting. Reverse escalator blinds.

Blinds Length
25-50 20
50-100 15
75-150 10
100-200 5
150-300 4
200-400 3 min rds from this lvl onward.
250-500
300-600
350-700
400-800
500-1k
600-1200
RoShamBo for stacks.

Ladies and gentleman, I bring you Sang. Welcome, and I would buy a small piece at no markup or a slight mark down. :-)

Ok, $5 buyin gets you 100 in chips, optional $120 add-on immediately for 6900 chips. Now you in? You could always just come and talk ****!

I'll suggest a wsop-esque structure
2500 starting chips, each player gets 2 free add ons worth 2500 in chips that they can receive at any time except during a hand
15 min lvl
25-50
50-100
75-150
100-200
150-300
200-400
250-500
300-600
400-800
500-1000 until conclusion

^I like that structure

Lets see what date works best.

5/16 I'm in

5/18 maybe

CK & Julian, if either of you prefers to host this, do both dates work?

Matt, what time on Thursday could you make it?

Jason, Ive got to drive across Sac to get there from Natomas, if I pass you, I can pick you up.

After some thought, we should just use Julian's place, he was the 1st one to volunteer. He lives across the street from ARC, and he is in reasonable distance to bus stops, strip clubs, bars, 24hr eateries, whore houses, pool halls, and pharmacies. He has running water and the keen ability to be hospitable to just about everyone. Beyond that, I would enjoy tearing up someone else's house :-)

I'm in. Sounds like fun.

I also brew and keg my own beer. If someone is willing to come pick up a smaller chest freezer-sized object and deliver it to the venue and bring it back to my place I can supply cold beer on tap.
