I'm interested in getting a regular home poker game running (once a Month or so).

I'm from Melbourne, Australia.
Is there anyone here from the Melbourne area interested in attending some regular home games.
I have a decent setup. I only have the one 8 player table.

I would be happy to run STT or MTT with buy-in's ranging from $20-$50.

Let me know if you're seeking some regular home games.

I just moved into the edge of the CBD and am looking for a game or two a month. PM me if you're looking for a player, although to be honest I'm not really looking to travel too far out of inner Melbourne.

I have a regular monthly game with some mates that is pretty casual and I actually own a poker table. If there are a few people up around the area I'd be willing to host a second monthly game. I am newly single so have plenty of time up my sleeve and games can go as late as people want.

Okay so I haven't used the forums enough to have PMs enabled, silly me.
Email me at my username at gmail if you need another player (or two) for a Melbourne game.

I'd be interested if you got something up n running

I couldnt be a full time player or anything like that but if something gets up I would def make an appearance or two every now and again to get away from the crown rake

Without derailing thead, does that mean you can now play there or is there a time you must wait?

So has there been any movement on this?

I bring it up cause had another issue at Crown the other day

It was a new 2/3 table, forced to wait 10 minutes for the tray to be unlocked. This was at half past the hour, so we waited until 20 to the hour and still had to pay the full time.

The dealer hadnt even asked for the key to the tray, and when questioned just shrugged his shoulders and said "They know I'm here so they should know I need to the key"

In this time about 4 different floor people walked past and he never stopped one of them, eventually it took a player to grab a floor when they walked past

Was an absolute joke, the time charge for 2/3 and 2/5 is unbelievable and they never let up on it, its the sole reason I would look for a home game to play at

The more I think about that room and the more I go there, the more I realise how poorly run it is

I've been working crazy hours at the day job, but that finishes up at the end of the week

I will be shooting out PMs in the next few days to everyone that responded and get something happening soon

Yeh, technically speaking, dealers are trained well, but in terms of a lot of small things like opening tables dealers don't get enough info at all before they got on the floor so **** like that will happen... If it was me I woulda been charging half time at the maximum, but half the time If i was opening a table on an hour then I just didn't even take any time.

I might be interested as well. Do you run cash games as well or only tourneys?
