Just a quick note: most of the games listed on that site are raked games even though they don't say so explicitly; it's debatable as to whether those games are really home games or underground club games. The purpose of this thread is to find unraked home games in the DC area.

Also, if you are looking for games in DC or MD and I have not PMed you already, I'll be doing that this coming weekend.

Announcing a $1/2 NLHE cash game on Sunday, July 20 from 3pm till 10pm in Winchester, VA. Our host lives a bit North of Winchester and is about an hour drive from Leesburg, a bit more than an hour from Manassas, and about an hour and a half from Fairfax. That's a bit of a haul, but hopefully the stakes make the drive worthwhile. No rake, nice setup, and comfortable environment to play in. Please PM me if you are interested.

I'd be really interested in a game in Washington D.C. itself...could you add me to your list, Rapini?

Montgomery County here. I need a home game about .25/.50 worse than you all know.

I know of some rare higher stakes cash games I mostly rail because of friends in them if anyone needs a bigger game. UNRAKED. Secure drops. No cocktail service. Safe and secure.

Hey all, Im a local in the NoVa area I frequent PStars and am also looking for some home games to get into a few nights of the week if not more. I will play anything from .25/.50 - 2/5 no limit, limit it doesnt matter it keeps me from skipping town as often as I do to go to Borgota. I love that place but my schedule will not permit me to travel as often as I'd like this year. So if any1 has any suggestions hit me up.

I tryed Home Games.com or org and it really wasnt a big help like I thought it was gonna be.

Because of the overwhelming response to this thread, I am PMing and meeting up with only those people who expressed interest in games in DC proper or MD. (Generally, I play games only in DC and MD.) It looks like there's enough NoVA-only people on here though that you guys could start up your own game with just those people somewhere in NoVA. If you are in NoVA but would be willing to travel to DC or MD, feel free to PM me.

I hope everyone has a great holiday weekend.

Hey, bump.

Some people PMed me they were interested in the NLHE tourny + low limit HORSE Saturday game, starting this Saturday, but never sent me an email address, and I'm too lazy to dig through my inbox to find who didn't send me an address and PM them every week. So if you're interested and didn't get an email from me, PM me your email address.

reppin UMD!!!

i have been to a few 1/2 games in the college park area but apparently they are frequently robbed, etc. the games were good though and although it was raked, there was plenty of good food, booze, etc, big screen tvs, and dealers that would frequently dump their tips back into the game, so i thought it was worth it the few times i went (the rake, not the getting robbed part).

I may be late to the party, but I live in Arlington and host a relatively low stakes ($20/tourney) NLHE tournament league. We're on the small side, and typically get about 6-8 players per tourney. We try to have them weekly, but this summer it has been tough to get enough. This season is wrapping up though, and we are on the verge of beginning a new one. PM me if you want more info.
