It sounds like at least three of us in the dupont area would be available to play. I'd prefer a .25/.50 game but would willing to lose some money in 1/2. Unfortunately, I live in a studio, so I wouldn't be able to host either.

Make that four. Plus I have chips and at least four setups. Let's set up a PM list to make it happen.

I go to DC for work a fair bit. I'd love to sit in on some games and donate some.

Would love to be on the list for that game!

I would also try to make it. I'm working out in Dulles in the middle of the week but still need to come into DC to watch my ****ty hockey team play. So please, add me to the PM list.

I don't own a car but would also be willing to chip in for gas if we made it out to West Virginia. Also, I don't think I have access to PMs yet, so please loop me in.

A game near Dupont Circle might pick up a couple of guys from my game. I'd try to make it too, depending on which night, but I'd have to cut out in time to get home by Metro. Also have chips, cards, table topper...

I'd be down as well. Work in around farragut, so it'd be very convenient. Prefer 1/2+.

Happened upon this forum. Great info. A little off topic but is there any place to keep track of DC area MTTs - charity funders and such? Also - on topic - might be interested in a game in Alexandria. 1/2, 2/5. Long time resident.

I don't have a problem with charity game hosts listing in the Non-Traditional sticky, but other threads should be restricted to unraked home games.

I just moved to Washington DC from Philadelphia. I'm looking for a home game, either NLHE or LHE. Nothing too serious, in the 1/2 range. I don't have a car, so I'd prefer to find something close to downtown (Dupont or K Street) and/or near a metro stop.

Understood. Please don't list them here.

We're doing something a little different in Old Town Alexandria right now -- just started a series of mostly 1/2 cash nlhe and a few other (1/2 nl/pl or 3/6 limit) games running through the end of June. Initial buy-in is $100 to $200 each night. But we're raking (that word!) $1 from each pot into a prize pool. At the end of June, the top eight in accumulated points will play a freeroll for the entire prize pool.

We award points based inversely on who busts out of their initial buy-in first; you can't add-on until you bust. For those who don't bust each night, points are awarded based on stack size at midnight. (First busted gets one point, last busted gets 8 to 10 points, depending on how many are playing.) When you bust out, you can re-buy and play for cash only, no additional points.

I'm not sure if it's the holiday doldrums, or if it's the move from .25/.50 to 1/2, but we're only getting six or seven players lately, so there are seats available, and it will be pretty easy to make the final eight starting now if you play regularly.

www.vaholdem.com has more info. One block from Braddock Road Metro stop.

Rapini- put me on this list. Also, I could possibly host a Monday night game if we get enough for a semi-regular 1/2 game. I live between MacPherson Sq and Logan Circle.

I'd definitely be interested in joining this, as well. (Live near 14th and U and work near Farragut Sq., so very convenient.)
