You can get to both Maryland Live and Horseshoe Baltimore via public transit from DC. Check the venue-specific threads in the Poker Venues subforum of the Brick and Mortar forum. Horseshoe is in downtown Baltimore, so all you need to do is take Amtrak or MARC between Union Station and Penn Station and then grab an Uber.

Do not play in Alex's (u2rindanger) game. Played for a year twice a week before winning $2500 or soone night a year ago and him not paying out. Paid me $700 or so over a long period of time then went totally MIA. He is a big bj degen and double rakes if he's in the hole.

It's raked 10% up to $8 I think but we suspect dealers often took more. Many people can vouch that he never paid me.
