Glad this thread was bumped. I live in central NJ (near Sandy Hook) and would love to hear about home games in my area. I participate in a great home game with friends but it has very little to do with real poker (too much alcohol and too many wild cards). Low to low/mid stakes preferably ($500 max BI or less).

Is there any interest for a 3/6 HORSE game in Bergen/Passaic County? I'm thinking of hosting anything from 2/4 to 4/8 HORSE since I know a few guys would like to get a regular game started. At the moment I only have like 5 guys that I know are interested, but if anyone else would want to play on Sunday nights (usually start around 6ish) let me know.

I still play NLHE (1/2 or 1/1) every Thursday as well.

I know of several great games in NYC. Be careful of where you play. Many games are notorious for their high rakes and dishonest dealers.

.25-.50 NL cash home game in Staten Island on Sunday nights (occasionally $1-$1 NL instead) that was dead for awhile now is back and has been full or near full the last 7-8 weeks. Plays pretty deep, last week had some ridiculous total like $1900 on the table during .25-.50. Starts generally 6:30pm, no rake, held in the Travis area. Hit me up - it's a game I've posted before and we've had a few 2p2ers come down.

The plan was to start this Sunday but I'm going to have to push it back 1 more week. I'm going to try and get the game started Aug. 16. PM me if interested. I have 5 ready to get the game off. 1 or 2 more would really shape the game.

The game is likely going to be a 3/6 HORSE game, though others want to make it a 7-game, but I'm going to have to take the temperature of the group when we get started.
