I live in the Boise area and have been casually looking around for a game to no avail. I've seen an occasional post on homegames/craigslist but my emails asking if the game is still running has gone unanswered.

When I occasionally make it out to Jackpot NV to play some cards I always hear about the poker scene in boise, but I guess I don't know how to get connected?

24yo married male that plays poker for fun. I obviously prefer to win, but poker isn't my life. I played online for fun and I play in casinos for fun. I like to enjoy my time at the table and would prefer a game that has casual conversation instead of 10 guys sitting around a table silently staring at each other.

Any leads would be appreciated, I haven't been able to get my fix for awhile now and driving to jackpot and back in a night (2.5-3hrs each way) isn't something I want to do again anytime soon.
