Just looking for groups/mailing list. Ideally $100+ buyin cash and $50+buyin tournaments. If there wasn't one is there any interested in me creating one? I don't mind hosting no rake games.

so, set it up and start looking for players. Is Facebook your only desired source of names? There's homepokergames.com, the poker meetup groups, etc.

Personally homepokergames.com seems to be full of $25-50 NL type players that allow collusive behavior and don't really run games on the up and up. Just my experience from the two i've been to. Husband and wife cheating by one folding AK to a short shove 5 handed on the bubble so they wouldn't bust the other. Then when you ask the host about it they are too p*ssy to handle it because they're afraid to lose people. So i and other players who care about the integrity of the game never stay around long.

http://www.pokerpartynw.com is a pretty new site aimed at WA/OR players and games. Its pretty small at this point, but has a good setup and potential for growth (the guys who run it also run http://www.lanpartynw.com).
There's a Federal Way game thread there but it sounds lower stakes than you're looking for.
Teckor21 runs a .25/.50 game every other Tuesday up in Burlington, but that's probably farther than you want to drive.
If your interested in hosting you should throw up a thread there. I'd probably be willing to drive down from Everett if the time slot works out for me.

Although it is true that home-poker can be full of collusion and often the players are there to "hang out" and not play a serious game ( Screaming, beer-ponging, people playing xbox when their out of a hand) I would love to get in on some home poker. games. My bankroll took a turn for the worst with the rest of the economy, so low limits is just the thing i need ( and can afford). Bellevue games would be perfect. Thanks.

Boo-Hoo, I live on the other side of the hill in Ellensburg. I'm just now trying to get some games going. E-burg such a small town though, I'm having a hard time getting recruiting players as well.

I'll try the Northwest poker site as well though.

I see more games on Seattle Craigslist than anywhere else---there are a few that are regularly advertised. I've played in none of them, but that was how I started to find games. They are out there if you dig around. There is a Facebook group that hasn't seemed to go anywhere ($1/$2 cash)--fire me a PM with your FB info and I'll add you to that group FWIW.

I agree that listed ones seem to be NL50 and tournaments of 30 and below. I've come across some decent games in my time here, but took a hiatus for a couple years just playing online and BnM and those games are gone now. So, if you here anything (think I've talked to you before), let me know. I'll do the same.

Also, I'll be heading down to the Muck on Sunday if anyone wants to carpool.
