I don't have the room for any more tables (see post above). As I put up some additional teaser posts I think you'll find all you need to bring is cash. (with one exception) Lots and lots of cash....lol
This is my first time as participant, so obviously my first time hosting.
Outside this event I've hosted about 15 MTT's, 3-4 STT's and a monthly one table cash game over the past several years. I've also been running a monthly 2 table game, at a different location, that well into it's 5th year.
I've been told it's open to any 2+2'ers that want to show. I guess if there's still open seats others can come too. I don't have issues there. I plan to invite a couple non 2+2'ers unless there's objections to this.
I've also been told the games are small stakes - $.25 up to $1.00 big blind NLHE. Maybe some mixed games too. I've played Stud, Razz, Omaha 8 and Badugi - all as limit. My own cash games have typically been .25 or .50 big blind NLHE with the limit games as $1/$2. If we have multiple tables of cash games we can do different things depending on interest.
Maybe a tourney thrown in there too. I guess some past formats have started with live game, then once enough showed for a two (or three) table tourney we can do that. Tourney bust outs can go back to cash games. Past events have had 15-18 attendees..??
As I said earlier I'll be ready to go at 1 pm. And by ready to go I mean getting the cards in the air.
I'm open to requests, suggestions, recommendations, etc. from those that have participated in the past. I'm providing the venue but I don't have any issues about taking a backseat organizing this event to those with more experience. I also don't have a problem taking the lead if necessary.
I expect players to treat each other, and my property, respectfully. I'm sure we all want to have an enjoyable experience. I won't have an issue kicking out somebody I feel is acting innapropriately. I've never had to, and don't expect to, but I will if it comes to it.
