My wife and I have been running a monthly poker night for EIGHT YEARS....
Usually 3rd or 4th SATURDAY, monthly.
$1/$2 Cash Game ($209 max buy in) 430PM to about 1AM
$60 Tournament with rebuys (30 player max) 630PM
25/50 cent cash game ($24 max buy in) 8PM
No entry fee, no house rake.
We have a good mix of sociable players: gamblers, loose, tight, solid, old dudes, young guns.
Drunks, critical or verbally abusive players, or those who take it way to seriously need not inquire (ya know, the dude that goes into the tank as if he is about to make a life changing decision). Its a game. Players that can handle a bad beat or whose bank roll is less then $300 need not inquire.
