Once I get some money, I'm looking for a couple games in SLC. I hear there is a big underground....subculture? for that sort of thing here, but I don't know where to find it.

Go to meetup.com and search for salt Lake city Poker and you will find one of the largest home game groups in the country. The founders are members of this site and used to frequent 2+2 Home Poker regularly.
