If anyone is interested, I have a basement with table in the corner (definately a little worn, but still playable..its also a full actual table, not fold up top only) and chips. Ac/Heat works.

Only cons is the basement is shared by my bro and a friend of his. They usually like to call it a night around 2am.

Pros? They actually like to play as well.

We used to have a small, friendly .25 game (.25 sb and bb, or basically an ante to call) and they might be able to get some friends. If so...very very fishy play involved...were talkin pothead/stoners/pill poppers/drunks. They dont do that crap at the table or in the basement (well drinking is allowed) so no worries there.

Live in a small neighborhood right off of Harding Place and I-24. Only issue might be parking, but can always work something out.

Prior to my bros friendly fishy game, i was involved in running a $1/$2 game also in said basement. Ran for almost a good 2 years before the "owner" i guess got greedy and moved it so he wouldnt have to pay me anything (wasa raked game..i made $125 per night just for use of basement, plus i split dealing tips with him). Id have no problem just dealing if need be.

Also another pro if usingmy space, besides the possibility of my bro and his fishy friends...i have a few other friends who used to play in the game i mentioned above, and who i started playing poker with when i first started who know where i live and ive actually been in contact with to try and get some sort of game going.

i wouldnt mind .25/.50. I think .50/1 or 1/2 might be a little rich for my bro/friends/other friends. I was in talks trying to start small SNGs ($10 plus rebuys until a certain point), so wouldnt mins those for a change up either. Im sure if they were willing to do that, then .25/.50 wouldnt be a problem.

As far as scheduling:

The only days i woulnot be able to do it is Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays. I work every Monday until 7pm, Fridays and Saturdays from 6pm-6am. I also have my daughter for visitation every other week, but can be worked around.

I initially told my friends i was looking at Sundays, starting at like 5pm. But like i said, Tues/Wed/Thurs could be options..depending onif worth it or not (ie there would be no rake involved, but maybe a couple $s for hosting or if dealing a tip every so often..obviously with such low limits wouldnt be expecting much, but you get the point).

Anyways, if not needed..i am still interested in trying to get info on a game, preferably .25/.50 or lower. So anyone who can pm details would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I just read thru the recent posts. I also returned the PM's to those that sent them. I am up for whatever (with in reason); but count me as one when pulling people together. I work during the day so no night is really better/worse for me so I am flexible. I do travel a little bit though. Seems like some people may want to play in the 1-2 range; I am up for that, but it may not be a bad I idea to start smaller: bigger player pool, feel everyone/situation out with less money in play, etc.

Also I'll play anywhere, barn, basement, grandma's living room, burned out school bus, inside/out whatever as long as I can drink some beer and tell lies, I'm in.

hey guys... i know of a great game at a local bar IN nashville, tn. it's $.25/$50... usually 15-ish players show up, one table, waiting list...although, sometimes they pull out a second table. (both tables are legitimate tables, not just table tops). self-deal. no rake...just buy a beer or two out of courtesy to the owner (he doesn't really care either way, but it's just nice gesture). players are terribad.

I travel back and forth a lot from Nashville to NYC a lot for work (but live in Nashville) so I'm not always at the game...but they'd welcome all of you (whether I'm there or not).
