This will be a satellite for The 2012 World Series of Poker for a $1500 or $1000 Event

MINIMUM of 7 players needed for a $1000 WSOP Event and MINIMUM of 10 players needed for a $1500 WSOP Event to make this Satellite happen.

Here is your chance to go to The 2012 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas for $150 US Dollars

Rules for this tournament; The usual rules that we have been following for all Orangeville Poker Tour Events in addition to the following;

1. Tournament is in US Dollars since you are winning your buyin into a US Tournament.

2. The goal is to get 14 players to be able to give away a $1500 seat plus $600 for expenses. This can be adjusted depending on how many players show up. In other words we can offer a $1000 seat instead.

3. The following payout structure is based on 14 players 1st - $2100, ($1500 will be held back for the tournament buy-in) the rest of the payout structure will be dictated by how many players come out, with 20 players 2nd place will get $900. Once the schedule is released for the 2012 WSOP, winners will be emailed and get to choose which $1500 event they want to play. Then we will pre-register each winner for the event that they choose. The WSOP usually runs from the end of May to the beginning of July.

4. This is an equity tournament. Any winnings (only that after 30% tax is taken. $5000 and up gets taxed) from the WSOP tournament will be divided amongst the players that were in that particular satellite tournament. 85% to the winning player in the WSOP, the remaining 15% divided evenly amongst the players from that tourney.

5. All players will sign a contract at the beginning of the satellite tourney in attendance agreeing to these terms.

Tournament starts at 7:30pm, doors open at 7:00pm

Starting Chips: 4500

Buy-In: $150 USD

With this structure this tournament will have a 6 out of 6 Skill Level and a Patience Factor of 15.46

NO SHOWS

In addition to the minus 50 points you receive for a no show, if you have a NO SHOW you will now be required to pay in advance for your next event that you are registered for by the Wednesday before that event, either with Paypal ($63/$83) or Email Money Transfer ($60/$80). If you do not do this, you will be removed from that event and someone from the waiting list will fill your spot. No exceptions.

Just so everyone knows, a NO SHOW will also now be considered as a player that does not show up for an event that they said they would be at without changing their RSVP before 4:30pm, the day of that event.

It is not hard to take 2mins and either change your RSVP or text/call (leave a message)/email me. All my contact info is on this site for each event.

So basically if I don't hear from you that you can no longer make an event you RSVP'ed to going to by 4:30pm on the day of that event, then you will be required to pay in advance for your next event you wish to attend. This will also include all WSOP Satellites.

You are also responsible for any guests that you have signed up, so make sure they don't cancel on you last minute.

Why 4:30pm you ask? This gives me time to contact players on the waiting list, and them time to arrive for the event on time.

So please everyone keep your RSVP up to date, and let's have a full house for all OPT Events this Season.
