Lowball in review:
This past game we had 2 tables going and everyone was in on the side bet on “HITTING THE NUTZ!”. One new player got the usual free buy in as Frank brought his consigliere Tribi to try the game out! Two games in a game that Frank got someone to play it! Thanks Brother!
It didn’t take long for some brutal hands to be played early as Michael was a victim several times over including being second best on a nice three way pot!
We also had several close hands on our table including this 876 low getting pipped by a 875 low!
Tribi was I guess playing a little cautious as he checked in late position an 8 perfect (85432) and a few players (including myself) questioned why he did that. Boy did that turn out to haunt me!
I got into a hand when I called Karl’s raise when I looked down at A2347. Karl stood pat and I tossed the A and I was quite happy when I dramatically (lol) peeled the 5 to “HIT THE NUTZ” to win the side bet and got paid off when Karl called my re-raise post draw.
We all decided on another side bet and less than 5 minutes later Joseph beat the 2550-1 odds and was “DEALT THE NUTZ!”. Another side bet was made and once again it was hit; this time by Tribi! Being hit three times before the end of level 3! Wow!
Eventually we got down to a final table and I had Tony to my left trying psychologically warfare (
) on me! One by one players were knocked out and I was close to the chip lead when Tribi shoved all in and I looked down at a decent 106 low to re-shove! He stood Pat (took no cards) and I was convinced by his earlier play that he had a monster so I had to toss the 10. I looked down at a J and I knew it was no good as he showed a 108 low!
I had him beat and tossed it!
This left me with one 500 chip as 89500 was shipped over to the now massive chip leader! Whoever coined the phrase “A chip and a chair!” can kiss my ass as I was out the next hand. Lol!
Next up Sean was taken out by Tony and once Tony was knocked out it was heads up between Kenny and Tribi. The deciding hand had Kenny drawing two and Tribi one as Kenny drew the absolutely best two cards……..for Hold’em
as seen below with Tribi hitting an 8 low to win his first time playing! Well done! Thanks to all for playing and as always, thanks a million to the dealers! Mean it!
Post Script: Will finishes 5th!
