This is a $100 US Dollars Satellite to our $500 2011 WSOP Main Event Satellite (in Bolton)

You must play the $500 Satellite, if you cannot play you may sell your seat to someone else and letting the OPT know about this, or your $500 will still be used towards the WSOP Main Event satellite.

MINIMUM of 10 players needed to make these tournaments happen. For every 5 players entered we will award 1 seat in OUR Satellite to The WSOP Main Event.

Here is your chance to go to The 2011 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas for $100 US Dollars and play in The WSOP Main Event

Rules for this tournament; The usual rules that we have been following for all Orangeville Poker Tour Events

Tournament is in US Dollars since you are winning your buyin into a US Tournament.

Tournament starts at 7:30pm, doors open at 7:00pm

Starting Chips: 4500

Buy-In: $100 USD

With this structure this tournament will have a 6 out of 6 Skill Level and a Patience Factor of 11.93

In the event that we cannot award a $500 seat in our 2011 WSOP Main Event Satellite, we will award whatever the cash prize is. For example, 27 players participate, 1st to 5th get seats and 6th will get $200

If for any reason we cannot hold The 2011 WSOP Main Event Satellite, those players that have won a seat will be awarded $500 in cash.

Blind Levels: 30 minutes and follows WSOP format for intermediate tournaments with each level and starting chip stacks

Level 1 = $25 - $50
Level 2 = $50 - $100
Level 3 = $75 - $150
Level 4 = $100 - $200
10 mins Break
Level 5 = $100 - $200; 25ante
Level 6 = $150 - $300; 25ante
Level 7 = $200 - $400; 50ante
Level 8 = $300 - $600; 75ante
10 mins Break - CHIP RACE (25 chips)
Level 9 = $400 - $800; 100ante
Level 10 = $500 - $1000; 100ante
Level 11 = $600 - $1200; 100ante
10 mins Break
and so on

Usually a 1-2 no limit cash game starts once enough players are eliminated from the Tournament

As Always this is BYOB, I will supply some snacks and some pop.

What setup and paperwork do you use, to cover the $500 marker (and, later, the WSOP ME satellite?)

Also, 85% to the winner seems a bit heavy to me. I'd like to see the field get more, if the horse does well in the ME.

Thanks for the questions. All players are asked to sign a contract prior to the event starting. The contract is in place to protect all players who attend the event, as well as the organizers. All winners of seats into our Main Event Satellite, are posted on the following website for everyone to see.

Once we have a final winner, for the Main Event, and or for one of our $1500 WSOP satellites, those winners are posted on the website as well. Once the WSOP releases the 2011 schedule all winners of seats will be contacted to select the event that they wish to play in. (for the $1500 events) Obviously the winner of the main event satellite only has one event to choose from, however they will need to choose which day 1 they want to play. Once all winners have chosen the event they wish to play in we will send a pre-registration money order to the WSOP in the winners name for there selected event.

The reason we went with 85% / 15% is because last year when we ran these tournaments we were doing a 75% / 25% and got some complaints from players that they found giving up 25% to be to high, some players liked the 75/25 and wanted to keep it, so we thought that changing it to 85/15 was a nice middle ground compromise. This can always be left open to discussion on the day of the Main Event Satellite, if all players attending are interested in changing the equity amount.
