Figured some of you may have known her. Jen Harman has had nothing but great things to say...

RIP Cissy Bottoms
The first time I played with Cissy, I was 18 years old. I was winning everyday and way to confident and cocky. She looked at me like I was crazy. If I could of read her mind it would of said "Who is she" or Who does she think she is"? That night she schooled me. I lost every pot to her and she definitely humbled me. I learned a big lesson that night.

We became very good friends after that. I would have to say that she was a great Limit Holdem Player and continued to make money at poker her entire life.
She had a lot of love and tremendous respect for the game.

It makes me sad that a lot of the young people in poker didn't get a chance to know her. If I had a say in who should be inducted into the Hall of Fame she would get all of my votes. She only had one job in her life and that was poker. She truly was the real deal.

She was a great friend and I will truly miss her.
With so much respect and love to her.

Cissy was a great person and poker player. I got to know her very well over the last few years. I was sad to see the decline in her health but, glad that she left last year to be with her family.

Cissy you will be remembered and loved by many!

I had heard about her for years but never got too play with her. Just curious
as to what you think made her so successful while so many fade over time.?

She just played a very clean game. Very solid, practically never tilted(if she did it might have been getting out of line and raising Aj off utg). She played in the old school days where it was you muck AQ and 99's to an utg raise. I used to play 15-30 live with her and always thought she was one of best players. She wasn't super tricky or anything, just it was hard to ever catch her making a mistake. Most pros you sometimes see a hand where you're like "I wouldn't have done that". But i can't remember saying that about her. It was real hard to ever get any money out of her.

She was a very nice/pleasant person too. She was a class act!
