Tied for the chip lead! Day 1d, Brasilia 160.

I'm playing Sunday. Probably a bad choice as I can't party hard for the 4th of July.

I have 2% of 5 different people. Please do not bust or stack them.

Does anyone know what time they got done last night?

really early, they are only doing 4 levels on day 1. so like 10:10?

yeah shortly after 10:00.

table draw sucked quite a bit considering what i've heard, with bigdpck5s, sirwats, orel herscheiser, and some swedish pro.

guy directly to my right was limping about 50%, then LRR 20% of that, which made for some really weird poker all day.

I kinda just slowly accumulated up to 48k, only to get 15k in with QQ<AA in a pretty unavoidable spot. Then just missed flops the rest of the day; Onto day 2A with meager 23k .

Flying into Vegas tomorrow afternoon and hopefully staying the hell away from cash games so I can get sleep for day 1d. I just set up twitter if anyone cares to follow my progress @Enonpoker. Blog posts forthcoming.

40k after day 1. Ran super ****ty and didn't go broke, I'll take it. None of my like 7 swaps/horses went broke either! woot

15,5k after day one. Started great but went carddead and lost everything.

Highlight was 4-bet bluffing succesfully preflop with 75o.
Bummer was when a "shortstack" decided he should gamble with JTs against my AKs (in his defence I had been very active). A ten on the flop and a 30k pot went the wrong way.

digf me

dead in level 2, i ran really good pre and post, the field just ran even better

nice man, doesn't get any better than doubling thru clownie, hopefully she was wearing make up so she looked kinda hot instead of insanely bad like some of the photos floating around.

if you win the Main Event can you promise to grow your hair out like your avatars?
07-07-2009 , 01:32 PM
Enon wasted all his runbad on the internet and now he's forced to win the Main Event while busting bigname pro's. Sick life.

She was looking pretty worn out but not as bad as that one infamous photo. Most of the table was pretty shocked how she lost most of her chips to me. Here's the hand:

She just arrives at the table and hasn't seen me play a hand yet. 200/400 with 50 ante, I have 41k she has about 45k I think. She makes it 1300 utg+1 I call bb with 77. Flop is A87 with a flush draw, I c/r 2k to 8k she hesisates, stares me down and calls. Turn 5x I bet 13k she takes about 40 seconds to put me in for my last 18k and says "I'm dead" when I show my set. Not sure if she didn't realize she had outs with her A9 suited (no flush draw) until we told her. She told me she thought I was making a move. Not sure if my tendency to put my hands over my mouth makes people think I'm bluffing.

Reverse tells FTW. I do this all the time when I want a call against opponents like this.

http://www.pokernews.com/wsop/2009/e...y1d/page19.htm

At the bottom of this page I'm the guy against Ramdin when he won the 98cc high at showdown. I had 57cc obv. Also, he doesn't play very well imo.

About an hour later I play this hand, http://www.pokernews.com/wsop/2009/e...y1d/page11.htm , the one called "Huge Hand for Smith", and at dinner break I had like 125k, which probably made me the chipleader. Of course I was moved from the Ramdin-Darden table and put at this stupidly soft table where I managed to randomly spew, started 3 betting people with 43o and raising a bunch of limps w/ Q4o etc., because I was so bored and tired, and I leave the day with only 105k chips and massive tilt.

Just busted. My 15,5k starting stack got down to 9k. Then I grinded it up to almost 30k and this hand happens. Shortstacked player opens i MP to 1600 (blinds 300/600), button cold calls and I make it 6100 from the SB with KK. Original raiser folds and button flats again. Flop: AT4. I couldn't see that many aces in his range so I bet 6300 (smaller would accomplish the same, right?) and folded to a raise. He showed AQs, ugh. Down on the small stack again I push KJs from MP'ish and get called by AQo. Flop Q-high giving me a flushdraw, but I brick out. LOL donkaments imo.

Gl to the rest of you.
