Since 170k is like 3 times more than all funds I had to my name prior these 2 weeks it is a lot of money for me and therefore I decided to cash it all out Im no pro as many of you probably are but just a simpel college student (age 20). Maybe Ill see you someday at the tables again.

Maybe this should be in bbv..
I was railing you for a little while when I was waiting for the HIV-Gildwulf match to start, and you were so hot I was tempted to make an NVG post asking 'who is this guy running like god?' You were up about 80 big bets in 20 minutes. Good for you man.

How often have you seen 2K to 200K heaters in this kind of time period? I'm guessing not very ****ing often.

it's not earned imo, he was just gambling and happened to win. should be treated as a windfall.

Lol, not by IRS standards... which is of course what matters if he wants to protect his (assumed) virgin bum

Meh, the OP said he/she already had like 60 grand which is a ton for a 20 year old (and therefore presumably from poker), and the JessLove screenname has been around Stars for a while. So I guess this time his account was at 2k, then later 200k (then 170k), but it's kinda arbitrary if he had been reloading and would have reloaded again. It's more like a 60k to 230k run. My main point was that it was kind of a cheapshot, saying "nah nah, hey high stakes regs I scored on you and now I'm taking your money forever." But whatever, no one else seems to mind so I'll shut up.

Also as for the tax advice I think JessLove is scandinavia-based so IRS doesn't apply.

its not like thats its more like saying "hey i was playing some poker w/ u guys, and i played pretty damn good, i won some money, and now im going to take a break so u wont be seeing me. but you probably havent seen the last of me, most likely ill be back someday, so if u lost to me, dont sweat it too much"

and yeah jess love said in chat they are swedish

Building upon what HIV said, i also think jesslove also began to realize that he/she was not on par with some of the regulars at those limits that he/she was playing and was smart enough to comprehend that in the long run, all or a majority of that money was coming back into the game unless he/she cashed out now. Not a knock at all, but how can someone be on par with people like doughnutz, schneids, otterkopf, yahii, bicyclekick, bill chen, etc. (you get the point) after playing for like 2 weeks?

Variance is variance, but 3 of those players are down money playing high stakes limit on PokerStars, imo.

3, really?

Well we know doughnutz wins, we know schneids wins, ive seen big winning graphs from otter but not sure what site they were from.

So that leaves yahii (prob sup_bro), BK, and bill?

compared to other team pokerstars bracelet winners, he plays fine.

I think he is pretty solid not spazzy and spewy like some of the other pokerstars pros, won't name them, but i think we know who they are. My point was, whether you think chen is good or not, he is definitely better than some kid who has been playing the nose bleeds for 2 weeks.

I used to think Bill Chen did some weird stuff when playing. But then I read his book. Now I KNOW he does some weird stuff.

He told me he does the macarena after he wins a pot. But at the end, he says "heyyyyy, mathematics...aiiiiiite"

i didnt play with jesslove at all but i'd bet some guys on here that did would say he was tougher to play against than chen.

Ok, I guess I should not have mentioned bill chen in the same breath as some of the other top notch night stakes players. No disrespect to jesslove, but I think even jesslove would agree that they were running insanely hot, if jesslove didn't, then why the quick cashout?

you guys think yahii loses in the big games? weird , i just assumed he was a winner, but i guess its hard to ever know
06-06-2008 , 09:43 PM
I am pretty sure he is a winner on those games....

What levels did this guy (OP) play at? He said 1/2 and 2/4, he had to have played higher than that.

A couple months ago yahii said he'd gone busto. He just resurfaced again this week.

Bill Chen plays well enough. He doesn't play that often and I wouldn't rank him among the very best, but I don't know why he's getting so much flack.

hock,

Taking yourself out of the equation, who do you think are the top 5 at 1/2 and higher?

and top 5 at 30/60 and 50/100?

otterkopf, otterkopf, otterkopf, otterkopf, otterkopf.

BTW Pokerstars is rigged.

fwiw yahii is not sup_bro, he has never been nor will be broke
06-07-2008 , 03:44 PM
i played w/ yahii yesterday, all he did was play poorly and complain.

the players i think are pretty good are papawarbucks, valesco, and otterkopf. there might be a couple im forgetting but for the most part the rest of the players aren't that impressive.
