Blegh updated twitter but busto.

Table overall was extremely soft. Unfortunately the only two guys with a clue were my left and 3 to my left (mega-fish in between them). The one big early hand CO opens I 3-bet button with QTs (guy on my right was opening relatively wide but was extremely weak postflop) he calls. Flop=T76 all spades he leads I flat. Turn=Js he checks I decide to turn it into a bluff thinking he literally can't call with any hand he has now. He calls then leads river small I raise he tanks then calls and asks me what I have I tell him he wins he breathes a sigh of relief and tables ... AsJ? I'm like wtf you had the nuts he's like no nuts was 89s. I still don't mind my play because I think he can have Ks/Qs or even 2p/set-type hands on that river and doubt he calls with anything other than As.

Whatever I win a few smaller pots lose some am at like 22k I open KsJd on CO solid player on button flats. I bet Qxx all-spade board he calls. Turn=offsuit T. Most of the time I would just barrel turn but obviously it's not the end of the world if he checks back and I'd been barreling a lot and I felt a ch/r would get a lot more FE. So I check he bets I raise. He tanks and calls river=brick I ship he folds. Not sure about my ship the reason I did ship was more of a live feel thing just how he was acting seemed like he was weak. He mucks and I take it down up to around 30k at this point.

Next hour or so is extremely frustrating seems I get 3-bet every time I open (and they always have a hand, not like they're 3-betting particularly light or anything) or they're raising flops etc. I'm down to 25k. The blinds go up to 150/300 and the guy that used to be a nit seems to go absolutely ape****. He opens several times to 1200 takes it down pre then 3-bets twice in a row huge and takes it down preflop. The hand right after his 2nd 3-bet in a row I open KK to 825 he makes it 3k I tank a bit make it 8k he ships I snapcall obviously he has AA and flop=A and I'm drawing dead. Kind of frustrating since I felt like I had a huge edge at that table but w/e that's how tourneys go and apart from a few plays where I think I gave them too much credit (calling 2 barrels on Axxx with A4 when turn goes 2 clubs 2 spades because he picks up equity with a lot of hands and can be barreling wider when in reality he's double barreling draws approximately never and I beat 0 value hands) I was happy with my play.

well i busted in similar fashion today so i have no complaints! gl next year
