Big Stax 300 was fairly uneventful. I drew a super active table and was very card dead until we finally got it in pre with AK and lost a race to 88.

Thinking about moving my Big Stax 500 bullet to one of the earlier Day 1 flights on Thu/Fri to allow for a day in between, and also avoid some of the higher variance play that comes with the final flights for these type of tournaments.

Played the Big Stax 500 yesterday and got knocked out just before dinner break. Unlike the Big Stax 300 where I was completely card dead, we actually got a lot of decent hands this time only to get beat by slightly better hands. Had to make a lot of big folds and knew I was right every time because everyone kept showing me their cards afterwards!?!?!

I finally took a stand in a heads up pot with top two on a straight heavy board and he had the straight... I did not fill up. Not psyched about the way I played overall but still happy knowing that a year ago I would've busted that tournament in at least 2 spots before I ended up actually busting.

On to the next one....

Due to the payout structure of Event 1, I'll be playing Flight 1B on Friday instead of 1A.

1 in 8 players are getting paid, but each flight will play down until 5% of the players remain... so definitely more ev playing the bigger flights!

We fired flight B & C of Event 1 with a deep run in B and a min cash for $450 in C. No bags for day 2 unfortunately.

Played the $200 8 Max today and ended up 7th out of 141 for a $831 cash.

The day got off to a rough start in the first couple levels then we regrouped and ran it back up. Came close in the end... we had just finished discussing a ICM chop because the avg stack was under 15bbs but couldn't come to an agreement. Very next hand we get Tens and run them into chip leader's Kings... guess he was right not to take the chop.

On to the next one!

Due to inclement weather it looks like Event 9 has been cancelled. This was unfortunately the event I was looking forward to the most because of the 100K starting stack, but nature is gonna nature.

Will be using the $450 buy-in to play the following 2 events instead and will of course reimburse any unused funds along with MU.

Nothing exciting in the triple stack tonight unfortunately.... Structure was a bit faster than the usual triple at Live. Got our 23bbs in with 99 in a good spot vs AK & 22 but a K on the turn made for a quick exit.

Coming back nice & fresh for the main tomorrow!!

Well we gave it our best today and played a lot of great poker, but unfortunately did not bag.

Coming back tomorrow to close out the package with the $300 survivor and hopefully add another $2500 to our cashes to put us all in the green!

The Survivor event got off to a great start but things turned severely south once we got down to 20 players. After a lot of short stack ninja play, we found ourselves at the final table but still the resident short stack.

We managed to dip, duck, dodge, dive, and dodge... for almost TWO hours at 10 handed, until we lost our first player. We were able to abuse the bubble accordingly and pick up some much needed chips... then we lost the final 2 players and finished out the Survivor tournament as the chip leader!!!

Grinded out a profitable package by every definition of the word!!

Total Cashes: $5,281 + $20 leftover
