Hey Zach, I moved tables and am now short stacked at blue 17, seat 9...I have my starting stack 4500 chips.

As an fyi I am having major phone issues and it will not let me post/text without a security warning that says "security warning. There are problems iwth the security certificate for this site. The name of the site does not match the name on the certificate." I purchased 21 minutes on one of their kiosk for $7.50 so I could post this. I have a Verizon S4. If someone has a suggestion please post in here. I have to try to use my cell phone to call Verizon after the tournament so I can get it fixed.

I just wanted to give an update for you guys. I was on Tom Snyder's table at first (think he won this a few years ago). I then got moved to another table where there are a couple of pros on it...tough table...but I am still alive. I will need to use this next two levels to try to double up a couple of times now having 10 bigs at 200/400. I may not be able to post again tonight until I get my phone fixed. Ugh...talk about stress I don't need while still in the tournament!

Well wish me luck guys, will try to keep fighting here the next couple of levels to stay in it .
Matt

As for hands I feel I am playing well but just getting a little card dead. The guy to my right is running hotter than the sun shipping big pots left and right. I am trying to play small ball pre/post flop to try to find my spot here to double up. Last post here unless I get my phone fixed. If anyone has any ideas let me know. If I use my room phone it is a $11 fee plus per minute whatever that may be so hopefully my phone will let me call tech support when I am done playing...gotta love stress lol! Well, back at it in a few...heater one time to survive!?

Matt

Last break of the night. Chipped up from 4500 to about 15k. Two more levels and then we are done for the night. Let's finish the night strong!

Up and down these last two levels but I survived and bagged 14700. I believe there are close to 150 players left so I have work to do starting short. It still feels good to make it to day 2 and have a chance to keep it going.

Thanks man. I am going to skip the $235 today and probably will play it later this week. I am currently 113 out of 152 left with 117 getting in the money. Blinds start at 1k 2k so the bubble should break by the second level. Let's hope we get some cards early to make our stand!

Sigh 130th or 13 off the money. I lost a couple of pots and then lost my all in pre flop AQJ3 single suited losing to A862 single suited after he flopped trip deuces. Thanks for the support on to the next one tomorrow. So close

Going to bed early to be rested for hopefully a long day tomorrow. I'll be starting at Brasilia red table 89 seat 1 for the monster stack tournament. Hopefully my solid play will carry over to holdem!

Yeah flight one. I pre registered early to lock it in. I think flight 2 starts 4 hours later. I definitely prefer to play from the start.

14600 at first break. I have been card dead so far missing on flops with JJ, 67 suited, and AJ in late position. I am playing tight and did win my last hand before break to get back to close to starting stacking. There are 3 sponsored players at my table but I don't recognize them. Feel good so far picking up on some things with the players. Time to go back at it!

18900 on break # 2. Still pretty card dead but used my image to pick up a couple of pots.

14800 after a mark short stack 3 bet then calls my all in 88 losing to AJ off suit. Villain had been playing too many hands and just called someone else's all in with KQ off so I knew I was ahead of his 3 bet range. Still alive though... edit 12.5 now after short stack in sb jams for about 2.5k after a button min raise. I flatted with AT suited and lost to AK off suit

Break time 14700. I Chipped up a bit after those two all in hands. After 7 levels I have had 1 premium JJ and AQ off twice. My table is tough with these 3 pros but I am holding my own! 3 levels left to survive the day. Let's get some cards!

Lost a couple of pots then one a good one vs one pro and a lag with QQ. Lag decent player opens. Pro 3 bets to 1900. I 4 bet on the button to 4k. Lag calls. Pro pauses and calls. Flop is The two clubs. After they both check I bet 8 and both folded.

That was a rough last level. I probably post every hand I played including a guy hitting a junk two pair on the turn. I ended up bagging 23400 which is below average with 30 bigs left at 400/800 blinds. As tough as my table was with the pros I am very happy to survive. We play at 3 so I will be missing the $235 and will either refund or play it later. Let's hope we get an early double tomorrow to stay in it!

One fun stat for the day I posted on FB but not on here. In 9 levels of play I had 0 sets, 0 flushes, and one straight in level one for 100 chips lol. I also had aces 0 times, kings 0 times, Queens once that I won with, and jacks twice that lost both hands. Finally I had AK once. Talk about rough when the table was averaging a 3 bet pre flop once or twice a loop as an estimate.

That great because, it means you're due for a huge run of cards. Even better, it's a long tourney.
