Event 1: $2110 Venetian deep stack busto end of level 9

I got up from 20k to 47k fairly early pretty much from a couple donkey gifts.

I dropped down to the low 30's with QJo vs AJ on a 48JJ5 board vs a guy that seemed really aggro postflop 3-barrelling with big bets on the river 3 times early in the first two levels and once showing a T on a AxxKx board that started 4-handed and ended HU on the turn and river. Our pot with trips started 5-handed with about 3k in the pot and he had 11k to start the hand.

I had a quite tough table for a long time after the initial donks busted but just kept grinding patiently. I kept whiffing everything hard and lost with JJ all in to AT for 15bb so I was down all the way to 14k going into 400/800. I rallied then with some 3-bet ships and picking up some hands to get up to 55k. I also got a much better table.

Unfortunately next I lost with JJ to A8 all in pre for an 80bb pot (38bb shove) vs the lagtard who I knew was dying to 4bet ship light. I had refrained from 3-betting him until then. I was left with a little under 15bb, waited an orbit, and shoved Q3s for 12bb from the CO last hand before break when the sb looked at his hand and went to muck early and pulled his hand back but stayed standing. The btn had AT and beat me.

1k WSOP NLHE Event 54

I made it through to day 2 with 26.5k going back to the middle of 300/600. It was a crazy loltastic day as expected in a 1k WSOP. I played with Scott Montgomery all day and won some good pots against him. He blew up a 40k stack to busto and he also called Shannon Elizabeth a bitch (when she wasn't) and got a penalty. LOL. I witnessed one of the funnier hands lol live poker hands I've seen. Old guy new to the table opens to 2k at 150/300 and Scott M 3-bets to 6k when they both have about 13k starting stacks. Old guy flats obviously and they see a AJT flop. OG leads for 1600 into the 13k pot and SM shoves, OG snap calls 99. Anyway I was running bad in flips in the later levels but luckily double with KK vs QQ to have a much more comfortable stack.

Day 2 is Saturday and if you didn't already know I update through the day on twitter: http://twitter.com. /DTrain2727

FYI making this day 2 means I can't play either of the last two events I had scheduled. I stated in my ad I could play something for equal or lesser buyin with comparable field softness so I'll consider my options for that and may or may not go on to play something else.

Alright everyone I got 13th for $27,365. Unfortunate to do a deep fail but I'm happy with my play and I definitely had some rungood yesterday to get there. I haven't gone to the cage but will tomorrow and will finalize the numbers after that. If anybody who invested wants cash in Vegas let me know and we probably can arrange to meet.

I'm estimating the ending bankroll to be a bit over 16k.

That was 16k profit I meant, so with the starting bankroll at 6700 the shares are probably worth $227ish each.

I'm sorry the the delay for a couple days but I needed a bit of the cash online and was bumped around Vegas without much internet before I headed home. Here's the final calculations:

prize money 27,365
buyins -3110
30% taxes withheld: -7276.50
net profit: 16,978.50

(I gave a tip but I'm covering it myself)

orig shares: $67
profit per share: $169.785
total returned per %: $236.79

For everyone I didn't give cash or some other special arrangement, I just sent your money to whatever site you shipped from originally. If there are any questions or concerns please let me know.

Thanks everyone!

One note re taxes in the above calculations. I actually had 7909.50 taxes withheld but I only charged the 7276.50. As far as I know I can get a refund so it's corrected to 30% of net profits. I only deducted the lower amount and I'll file for the difference on my own Jan 2011.
