Things have been mildly frustrating and I had no expectations of being stuck this far along but I'm surprisingly motivated today and guardedly optimistic. I've been playing well and seeing some slightly better games. For this last two weeks were gonna go all out, focusing later hours, longer sessions, and more volatile games and making sht happen. I'll get stats posted sometime tomorrow after tonight's session, lets book a W and go on a heater.

Disgusting session yesterday, got in for $2300 then back to even, then played a huge pot deep with top 2 vs open ended sd w/2 overs, went outside norm and played big high variance line to my detriment. Stacked on rest with AKss 3 bet pre got 4 bet and I flat, flop K high 2 spades Gii run twice and lose both to ppAA. Left stuck $3k making it worst session of summer. I was admittedly a bit mindfked after as it felt a bit like the nail in the coffin of a disappointing summer, however took today off and feel ok about it.

I think we’re stuck around $7k (13k remaining roll) On package, iPad is dead with info on it but will check shortly. Hard to stay optimistic but I’ll be playing it out and focusing on optimal play see where we land.

This last week was super swingy but unfortunately overall downward, key losing session was very brief at Planet Hollywood where 10 min into game I got check raised huge ($400) on a 994 2 club flop I had 3 bet pre to $85 and cbet $145 wth AA, he cant have any made hands here except smaller overpairs so I get it in and cant fade the AQcc...shortly after I rebuy and call same players 3bet pre with 99 and gii to crack his AA on 9 high flop...unfortunately he spikes the A on turn to stack us twice in less than an hour.

Catching up with sessions itt now, took off 2 days following a crazy 20 hour plo session in a wild game with people getting in hundreds literally playing blind that also ended negative, recreational player made a somewhat bizarre all in call on turn with 15% equity we ran twice and he won both boards (a 2.2% probability )

This summers been a bich but I'm gonna knock out these last 5 days playing as well as I can and see what we can do, if next 2 days go well will likely be back at plo the final 3 as I have become more and more convinced the money is infinitely better but the variance is obviously cringey.

after this is wrapped up I'll have to deal with ramifications that this will likely be my first summer/WSOP I have been -$ in cash games and what that means going forward +will have a backlog of dozens of hands I need to pick apart in depth but for now my head is completely clear of negativity/distractions and I just want to go play good poker this last week.

final week numbers no real improvement. I am probably not going to play tomorrow so will be wrapping this up now, down more $ than I ever anticipated and so my head won't be in it tomorrow. The games are noticeably worse than earlier in series so struggled for two small winning nl sessions then took a last shot at a far better plo game and got slapped (went 2 for 10 in all in spots with the 2 being from WAY ahead and the losing 8 varying degrees of flips to marginally ahead)

I ran worse this series than I would have previously thought possible though I realize statistically someone can (should?) run this bad. I tried to stay committed and focused and feel like I played well but obvs sht results like this make me question myself. Ultimately I think I failed to take the runbad in full stride as it was so surreally awful (lost to quads four times in very significant pots) and it effected my confidence and ability to get thin value etc afterwards that I needed to grind out of hole. I won't really know more until I get through huge backlog of hand notes I have from this summer and see if there are any consistent leaks/patterns.

I def scrape through end of series feeling like I am unable to string together any kind of winning momentum which is kind of a mind-fk bc how confident I was about doing well coming into this thing. Probably going to take some time to detox from poker then figure out where I go from here as I had seen this grind as a segue to bigger games and some tournament plans and instead it's a big setback.
